Welcome! This website was created in April 2011 and replaces my old site (doveton-music.de) which redirects here. You'll now find an even wider variety of music and many new pieces are in preparation. These pages supersede earlier listings (pace obvious errors).

The Catalogue now includes over 130 vocal pieces - ancient and modern - with and without accompaniment - with links to viewable PDF samples and valuable free downloads.

My Arrangements and Editions include rumbustious Folk Songs, sophisticated Carol settings, Sacred Music ancient and modern, Madrigals, Glees, Romantic Partsongs and Solo Songs. Many were made for Vocalis and The Scholars but others are here simply because they appeal to me. I hope you will like them too and, above all, perfom them - that's what it's all about!

Shakespeare settings from the various catalogue pages may also be found on their own dedicated page.

PDF download and A4 printed copies are both available but PDF does have a number of advantages:

   - Environmentally friendly
   -
Low cost
   - Quicker delivery

Keyboard reductions of a cappella pieces are not normally provided (although they appear in some PDF samples). Please ask me if you need them. I aim to fit music onto the minimum number of pages without sacrificing legibility: a keyboard part increases the page count.

Printing of PDFs for choirs is best done on a professional machine that can print double-sided on large paper (e.g. A3) and can fold and staple the sheets as necessary. The result will, for practical purposes, be just as good as copies supplied by major publishers - and usually a good deal cheaper.

Ordering/Payment: see any of the Catalogue pages.

Terms are stated on the catalogue pages and printed on the copies supplied. Please adhere to them: they are legally binding. I hold the copyright in my editions of public domain material as well as in my own compositions and arrangements.

Contact: by e-mail to dovetonmus@aol.com. I'm always happy to receive your comments and requests.
